Groove Law, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“Groove Law”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects and are committed to protecting your privacy.   • Client Information: Client Information is information which you provide to the Service, including your name and address, information about your corporation, information you provide when you complete a form so we can prepare a legal document and the legal documents which we prepare for you.
  • Payment Information: When you pay for services provided by us we collect personal information such your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card details. Payment Information will be collected and processed by our third-party payment processors pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use.   • Technical Information: Technical Information is information including your IP address, browser type, device and system information, unique identifier, the web page you visited before accessing the Service, location information, date and time stamps, crash reports, system activity and other similar information and interactions with the Service.
  • Information Collected Through Cookies and Technological Means: We or our third party service providers may use “cookies” and other technologies to record Technical Information and other information about you or your activity. A “cookie” is a piece of data stored on the computer hard drive or memory containing information about the user. You may modify your browser’s settings so that your browser stops accepting cookies or prompts you before accepting a cookie. If you do not accept cookies, you may still use the Service, but certain areas or features may not function properly.

For example, we would never share Client Information with a marketing provider, but we do need to share Client Information which third parties, such as Amazon Web Services, which provides necessary storage services to us.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, we may transfer your personal information as part of that transaction either with your express consent or where permitted under our professional obligations.

We may share information about you if necessary for us to collect a debt from you or as permitted or required by law, for example with regulators and law enforcement agencies.

For instance, Client information is encrypted in transit and Client Information, other than emails used for user accounts and your business name (both for technical reasons), is also encrypted at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or service is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss or breaches of our security systems will never occur.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes to our Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the updated Privacy Policy and revising the “Last Updated” date above. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy frequently to stay informed about our privacy practices.
